Shipping Update for US Backers

Hi everyone,

For our US backers, we received an update today from our broker (screenshot attached below for full details). 

Unfortunately the vessel our US container was booked on was cancelled by the carrier, which has pushed that shipment to the next available sailing departing March 11. All other shipments have already departed and remain on schedule.

Once the container arrives in Vancouver it will move by rail through Montreal and then continue to our New York fulfillment warehouse before shipping out to US backers. Thank you again for your patience — we’re very close now and excited to get XSCAPE onto your tables!

Hi everyone, we are so very excited to be able to say XSCAPE has finally secured a booking to set sail. Our pallets are moving to port for Ocean shipping. 

We had a lot of logistics to work out because different items were coming from different factories, but thankfully we were able to get everything together just before everything closes for Chinese New Year! 🥳

China and other parts of Asia should start receiving their games in the next week or so, while everyone else should arrive at their countries ports in 35-45 days.

We realize it's been a slower delivery than planned. There were a ton of complex parts with this game, revisions along the way to make things stronger and better, and many moving parts to make the logistics all come together. But everything is finally on their way and we couldn't be more proud and excited to get everything to you.😊

Hey everyone, we're chugging away with production and wanted to update you that we expect XSCAPE to hit the ocean next month! 🥳

Our fulfillment partners around the world are ready to receive so we can get things moving pretty fast once the games arrive in their warehouses.

We wanted to thank you again for your amazing support and patience. This game was extremely complex to create, and we are super pumped for you to get your hands on them.

Hey everyone, 

Things are looking very good on the production side so we just wanted to share a quick update on the last few changes that were made.  

Last month we shared the production sample which we are so excited about. What you didn't see was the missing Xs that we had embedded into the board instead of printed on top:

We just love how much it pops against the black board now!

There was also a mention regarding removing the board from the box which wasn't clearly shown before. We actually have a fabric tab embedded in the box so you can easily pull it to lift out the game:

Finally, we discovered an issue that caused some delay and is being corrected as we speak. When we improved the play area, switching Soft PVC to ABS, the trail chips that are also made from ABS now became sort of slippery when trail chips were laid on the play area. This would make the game play quite frustrating as you lay a lot of them during the game.

Thankfully, we we changed the material of the trail chips to that awesome soft PVC that worked so well against the ABS. Since there's no concern with exact positions or shrinkage, this actually makes perfect sense and will give just the right amount of friction to not slide around during gameplay.

This was a significant cost to us unfortunately as we already had the molds and chips completed for ABS, but it makes the game 1000% times better. We're truly happy with the results and can't wait to get these in your hands. The wait is a bit longer than we hoped, but will absolutely be well worth it! ❤️
